سورۀ المدثر

ترجمه وتفسیر سورۀ الْمُدَّثِّرُ این سوره به سبب افتتاح با صفت «تدثر: جامه بر خود پیچیدن» که رسول الله صلی الله علیه وسلم به آن موصوف شده اند، «مدثر» نامیده شد. اصل مدثر متدثر است؛ و او کسی است که خود را به جامه خویش در می‌پیچد تا بخوابد، یا خود را گرم کند. سورۀ مدثر از جملۀ سوره هایی است که به طور کامل در دورۀ ابتدایی نزول قرآن عظیم الشأن، نازل شده، بنابر این، بعضی آن را اولین سوره نازل شدۀ قرآن کریم دانسته اند. از روایاتی صحیح ومشهور، اول از همه آیات ابتدایی سورۀ «اقـرأ» نازل شده اند، سپس تا مدتی نزول قرآن کریم متوقف شد که به آن زمان فترت وحی گفته میشود. موضوعات مطرح دراین سورۀ: شرح اصول و محورهای اصلی دعوت پیامبرصلی الله علیه وسلم موضوعات دربارۀ قیامت وروز رستاخیز، علایم ونشانه های انسان متکبر، سرنوشت نهانی انسان، نگهبانان دوزخ و مامؤران عذاب الهی. دراین سوره سه آیه قسم هم وجود دارد. از آیۀ (32 الی 34) که با قسم به ماه و شب و صبحگاهان به اسرار پیچیده این پدیده ها که از اسرار علمی جهان طبیعت و از نشانه های توحید و قدرت الهی است. و این سوگند به این اصل مهم است که جان همه انسانها در گرو اعمالشان است.
