Reading a book is like re-writing it for yourself.
When people are frightened about going hungry and paying their mortgages, a scarcity model begins to prevail; they fear someone else will get their piece of the pie.
The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.
No two persons ever read the same book.
Persist – don’t take no for an answer. If you’re happy to sit at your desk and not take any risk, you’ll be sitting at your desk for the next 20 years.
In a good book the best is between the lines.
There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page and closing the book.
Some books leave us free and some books make us free.
