د پرتگالي ژبې نامتو ناول، ” کيميا گر ” دپاولو کويو له خوا په ۱۹۸۸ م کې له چاپه راوتلو. له هغې راهيسې دا کيسه په ۶۷ ژبو کې ژباړل شوې او په ۱۵۰ ملکونو کې ولوستونکي لري. پاولوکويو پخپله د برازيل اوسېدونکې دې او په ۱۹۴۷ م کې په “ريو ډي جنيرو” کې وزېږېدو. د ده زيات ناولونه د سفر کيسې وي چې په ډېر ساده جملو کې بيانه شوې وي. د کيمياگر يا الکېمسټ کيسه د يو شپانه د خوب او د ده د تعبير په اړه ده. د هسپانيې نه د افريقه د لارې مصر ته د قافلې سره د تگ او اخر په يو نخلستان کې د عرب قبايلو جنگ ته يې ورداخلوي.
