ترجمه وتفسیر سوره روم

اين سوره به‌سبب افتتاح با بيان شکست روميان بدست فارسيان و سپس خبر دادن از پيروزي آنان بعد از گذشت چند سال، «روم» ناميده شد.طوريکه خداوند متعال ميفرمايد: «الم﴿1﴾ غُلِبَتِ الرُّومُ﴿2﴾ فِي أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ وَهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ﴿3﴾» و آن هم بعضى از معجزات قرآن مى باشد. البته اين يکي از معجزات قرآن کريم است که از وقوع رخداد هاي غيبي آينده‌اي خبر مي دهد که به واقعيت مي پيوندند. روم نام اقوامى از انسانهاست كه در ساحل مديترانه در غرب آسيا زندگى ميكنند، در آن ايام اين اقوام امپراطورى بزرگ و وسيعى راتشكيل داده بودند، به طورى كه دامنه آن تا حدود شامات (سوريه، فلسطين، اردن، لبنان...) توسعه يافته بود.
