موقعیت سادات افغانستان در مناسبات میان قومی

مقوله ى «سیّد»، «سادة»، «سادات» و «سیادت» در ذات خود، و نیز در فرهنگ و معتقدات دینى و مذهبئ تمام مسلمین جهان بسا بزرگتر از آن است که در توصیف آید؛ کلمه ى «سیّد» از اسماءاللّه الحسنى است، و از مترادفات حکمت و عزت مىباشد. شاید هم «سیّد» اسم اعظم حق تعالی (جلّ و علی شآنه باشد.) در دعاى جوشن کبیر آمده است: «یاسیّد السّادات»، «یاولىّ الحسنات»در دعاى کمیل نیز آمده «إِلَهِى وَ رَبِّى وَ سیّدى وَ مَوْلاَى...» در مرتبه ى بعد، کسى که نسبش از ناحیه ى پدر به«هاشم بن عبد مناف» رسد، سیّد است. بناءاً تمام فرزندان هاشم بن عبد مناف سیّداند. «سیّد» لفظ عربى و قرآنی است که در مفرد مذَکر به کار مىرود. مفرد موأنث آن «سیّدة» است. جمع ادبى و مذکر کلمه ى «سیّد»، «سادة» و جمع موأنث آن «سیّدات» است؛ جمع عرفى و محاوراتى آن در بین مؤمنین (غیرعرب) «سادات» مىشود. این کلمه در قرآن مجید به همان معناى متدوال در بین مؤمنین به کار رفته است و مصداق آن یحیى نبی معرفى شده است.
